Full Circle

I have been working on a social network marketing plan for 2014.  To implement this plan will take a lot time investment and creativity to come up with the content that engages our target market.  Being someone who has always been creative, I find this a challenge because my focus for the past 10 years has been business writing which doesn’t require that type of creativity.  Now back to the roots of poetry and rhymes.  To find a place of deep thought and songs that sprinkles the sweet scent of excitement into the air.  Let the flavor of words add spice to the story and let the mind loose to tell the story.  It is time to dine on home cooking.  The ones I remember not too long ago as I come, Full Circle.

What a month of Konane

Talk about multiple jumps.  Kauai Museum on November  2nd as I was a part of the Museum’s Makahiki celebration. The OHA Konane workshop on November 23 was dominating as my presentation was my best ever.  I was able to demonstrate a possible way the ancient Hawaiian’s may have used the Papamu to calculate multiplication.  November 28 we had a Konane activity station at the Kapaa turkey trot.  I’m starting to book events for 2014 as my calendar is filling up fast.  Keep in tuned as we continue to dominate the board.

June 30th 2013

Getting ready to work with Kukulu Kumuhana O Anahola this Sunday at the Anahola Clubhouse and we are going to get down with some Konane action.  Everybody likes a good battle.  Hawaiian Checkers.com has been having these Konane activity stations for the past couple of months. Konane is a good family activity and anybody can play.  It is great to see the ohana play.  KKOA provides a great service for our Hawaiian families.  A fun movie for all to enjoy on a hot summer night.  I’ll be there at 5pm and remember “Last Move Win”

Don’t lose control

There are times I feel I have great control over the flow of the Konane game, and then, bang the unexpected happens and catches me off guard. I try not to panic; I may have to sacrifice a few pieces to regain control.

In Konane you must hold back the burst of emotions and keep your feelings close to the chest and play hard.
